Stephen L. Snow, Auctioneers & Appraisers
is owned and operated by Stephen and Betsey Snow. Our
office is located on the grounds of our 19th C. home,
in the quaint village of Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts.

We specialize in Estate Appraisals and Auction
Liquidation. In addition, we provide Insurance
Appraisals, Damage and Loss Appraisals, and On-Site
Estate Sale Management. We work with Attorneys, Bank
Officers and Trust Departments, and private
individuals.

I am a second generation antiques dealer from
Newburyport, Massachusetts and traveled extensively
throughout the United States, Europe and the Continent
acquiring antiques and selling at society antiques
shows, including the Winter East Side Settlement House
Show, The Ellis Memorial Antiques Show in Boston, The
University Hospital Antiques Show in Philadelphia,
shows at Wilmington, Delaware, Washington, D.C., and
in Dallas, Texas. For four years I worked at a well
known New England auction gallery as an appraiser and
cataloger.

 My wife, Betsey who grew up on the South Shore, worked as a sales associate for 15 years, in an antiques shop on Cape Cod. Later, she started her own
antiques business, creating and managing a local antiques cooperative, while also exhibiting at antiques shows in New England

Since forming Stephen L. Snow, Auctioneers &
Appraisers in 1988, we have applied the 50+ years of
knowledge, skill and experiences needed for evaluating
and liquidating tangible personal property. Our
objective is to assure each client that we will employ
the skills needed to custom tailor our services to fit
each individual need and situation
